What sets the EPIC™ 15 apart from basic cool bags?
It uses a thick 20 mm insulation made from high-grade, higher-density foam, a premium TPU liner, an 840D outer fabric, and a two-way shape (bag form / box form). This results in stronger thermal performance and better durability than basic cool bags.
What fits inside the 15-litre capacity?
A full day’s food and drinks for one or two people, including lunch boxes, fruit, snacks and several cans or bottles. There’s also room for ice packs, making it ideal for picnics, travel and family outings.
It also fits up to 12 standard cans with room for ice packs.
How long can the EPIC™ 15 keep food or drinks cold?
With good ice packs, you can typically expect around 24–48 hours of cooling. Using ICE PRO™ XL packs usually delivers performance toward the upper end of that range.
Note: actual cooling time depends on factors such as how cold your items are when packed, how full the bag is, outside temperature and how often the zip is opened.
Can the bag also keep meals warm?
Yes. The 5-layer insulation reduces heat transfer in both directions, so warm meals stay warm for several hours.
Is the EPIC™ 15 suitable for transporting medication?
Yes. The EPIC™ 15 is suitable for transporting temperature-sensitive medication.
In our tests with a single ICE PRO™ XL pack, the interior stayed within a 2–10°C range for the entire day at 22°C ambient temperature, without falling below freezing. The larger space also allows you to avoid direct contact between medication and ice packs.
If you prefer something smaller for daily medication transport, the EPIC™ 5 cool bag is also a popular choice.

Is this cooler bag fully leakproof?
The base and side walls are fully leakproof, and the front pocket uses a waterproof zip. The main top zip is not waterproof, so melted ice or water can escape if the bag is tilted. The bag includes four tie-down points, allowing you to secure it upright in a car boot or on a motorbike/bicycle rack.
Why we didn’t choose a leakproof top zip?
Simple fact: leakproof zips have a short lifespan and are prone to failure. A failed zip compromises insulation, so after testing multiple options, we opted for a heavy-duty SBS zip that stays reliable over time.
Which ice packs work best with the EPIC™ 15?
Most ice packs will work, as well as loose ice. For the longest cooling times, we recommend using our ICE PRO™ XL packs, which are sized for the 15-litre interior and typically provide the best overall performance. 2x well-frozen Ice Pro™ XL packs can keep the cooler cold for 24-48 hours.
Can the bag be used with regular ice as well as ice packs?
Yes. You can use regular ice cubes, ice blocks or ice packs. The leakproof base and side walls contain meltwater without issues. For the longest cooling time, quality ice packs generally perform best.
How do I clean the inside and outside of the bag?
The TPU liner can be gently pulled up for easier access. Wipe it with a soft cloth and mild detergent, and keep it out of direct sunlight while drying. The outer 840D fabric can be spot-cleaned with water. Do not machine wash.
Does the EPIC™ 15 fold or compress for storage?
Yes. Despite the thick insulation, the bag can be pressed down and compressed to reduce its size when stored. It doesn’t fold completely flat, but it becomes much more compact.
